Is SVH a Government institute ?

SVH is a Government-recognized institute. However, it is managed completely under private supervision of it's directors.

Will my mediclaim | Cashless policy be processed here ?

Yes, SVH provides its patients with the facility to have their insurance claims processed at the facility itself. While some medical insurances have to be reimbursed, cashless policy owners get a complete cashless experience once their insurer approval arrives. For those patients who have reimbursement-based policies, we provide full support with documenting and processing the request. The actual process in such cases, has to be carried out by the patient, but we provide complete support from our end.

How do I confirm the standard of medical and nursing care at SVH ?

SVH is a A+ certified organization by TPA organizations. This means, we are continuously and vigilantly evaluated to be in compliance with the international standards of administered healthcare. We conduct regular trainings for our staff, our medical officers and managerial staff. This ensures that we are equipped to fully provide excellent healthcare.

Will my relatives be allowed to be with me when I am being treated ?

We understand the desire to be with near and dear ones in their suffering. However, for the safety of our patients, SVH allows only 2 patient relatives in the premises. This is for preventing hospital-acquired infections for our patients. We provide proper waiting rooms for the relatives and there is also a sleep-over facility available for those patients who are travelling from far. For international patients, in most cases, subject to availability a separate room is allotted for convenience. We also have an in-house cafeteria which caters breakfast,lunch,dinner and snacks 24 hours for the staff, the patients, the relatives and also the doctors.

What about my specific dietary requirements ?

The hospital cafeteria caters to the needs of most of every patient. We also provide on-demand dishes for non-ambulatory patients travelling from afar.

Will I get all the modern amenities in the hospital ?

SVH is fully equipped to provide it's patients with all the modern facilities. Our rooms are equipped with full air-conditioners, Televisions, Remote-controlled beds, Sophisiticated personal medical monitoring equipment, etc.
